California 2nd Highest Foreclosure State
The state with the highest foreclosure rate is Nevada, followed by California. A recent article in Realtor Magazine ranked the top 10 States with the highest number of foreclosures.
The number of households listed below signify that 1 out of that number of households received a foreclosure filing in February.
1. Nevada – 278 households,
2. California – 283 households
3. Arizona: 312 households
4. Georgia: 331 households
5. Florida: 341 households
6. Illinois: 398 households
7. Michigan: 433 households
8. South Carolina: 489 households
9. Ohio: 543 households
10. Wisconsin: 596 households
Of special note is the decrease in Florida foreclosure filings way under the numbers reported a while back.
