One family in Southern California agreed to advertising their home as a giant bill board painted with bright colors. The intent is two fold. The marketing company will get publicity and exposure and the homeowner makes money to help pay his mortgage.

The catch – the neighbors are appalled and the City Council is not too happy either.But who cares, if you are a struggling homeowner it is worth a shot.

Romeo Mendoza, the company’s founder and CEO, wants to have a 1,000 homes across the United States advertising his marketing firm and in return each struggling homeowner could receive up to one year of mortgage payments.

The company’s website has received 38,000 applications to participate in the program to date.
