Expect to see a measure on the 2012 ballot for Danville and San Ramon homeowners to pay a $22 fee to protect water in Contra Costa County.This purpose is to pay for unfunded mandates by the state and federal governments.

The purpose of the regulations imposed by State & Federal governments is to keep contaminants, trash, chemicals, etc.  from running out of parking lots into the storm drains, which will eventually end up in the San Francisco Bay. The cost to accomplish is projected at $12 plus million per year. Currently the cities are only collecting half of this amount. Only
