San Ramon July 4th Festivities

San Ramon festivities begin on July 4th with a fun run/walk at 8:15 in the morning (registration 6:30) at the San Ramon Community Center – Central Park.  The race is for all ages and is on a flat paved route starting at Central Park. More activities are lined up at the Central Park starting at 1 PM and ending with a fireworks extravaganza at 10 PM

San Ramon’s Star Spangled Spectacular  There will be a spectacular fireworks display synchronized to music at 9:30 p.m.  For those of you not in Central Park, the accompanying music for the fireworks can be heard on KKIQ radio, 101.7.

This Kid’s Activity Area will include kids’ rides, inflatable features and interactive games including hamster balls.  There will also be food and beverage booths provided by San Ramon non-profit organizations.

Be sure to get to the park early if you want to see the fireworks as Bollinger Canyon Rd Between Alcosta and Camino Ramon will be closed starting at 8PM.  Bring a picnic and some chairs, relax, listen to the music and enjoy the evening.

San Ramon Summer Concert Series – July – Central Park Sunday’s Starting at 5:30 PM

  • July 10th – Listen to the music of the 70’s and 80’s performed by Double Funk Crunch – 9 piece band.
  • July 17th – California Beach Party a 6 piece band that of course their music theme is summer, beaches, etc. such as the Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, The Ventures
  • July 24 – Divas of the Decades – 6 piece backup band for two lead vocalists that perform songs from Pat Benatar, Blondie, Madonna, Linda Ronstadt
  • July 31 – Pride & Joy is hailed as one of the most popular bands in the Bay Area playing pop and soul music that is sure to get you on your feet and dancing.
